Debbie Harrer, SHRM-SCP

Founder & Principal Consultant, Rely HR

With over 20 years of HR experience, Debbie launched Rely HR to give business owners and executives a trusted partner they could rely on.

Her career began in Brazil at a Fortune 500 company, where she gained firsthand experience across every stage of the employee lifecycle. After moving to the U.S., she recognized a recurring challenge: businesses of all sizes needed HR expertise, but not all of them needed it full-time.

That’s why she built Rely HR — to bridge the gap between “DIY” HR and the high cost of a full-time hire. Since then, she has:

  • Supported organizations across 10+ industries and multiple states
  • Built HR departments from the ground up
  • Guided companies through mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring
  • Partnered with leaders ranging from small business owners to C-Suite executives

Debbie holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, a senior-level SHRM-SCP certification, and active benefits broker licenses in multiple states. Known for being detail-oriented and dependable, she and her team are praised for their follow-through and ability to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
